Gujarat Samaras Hostel Admission 2024: Students pursuing admission in Samras Kumar and Girls Hostels at Ahmedabad, Bhuj,
Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Anand, Himmatnagar, and Patan Samras Kumar and Girls Hostels for the academic year of Online applications are invited until 2024.
This includes students from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes,
and Economically Backward Classes enrolled in college-level Bachelor, Post Graduate, and higher courses for the academic year 2024–25 June
Important notice
For fresh admission in any year or semester in all graduate level courses admission will be done on merit basis based on percentage of class 12th and in post graduate level courses percentage (percentage on which admission to the university is based) (Note: Student is 50% or so should have scored more marks)
Renewal students who have got admission in previous year in Samaras hostel also have to compulsorily apply online. Renewal students of Group II and Group III who want to stay in the hostel for the second year should have the percentage of the last two semesters as calculated by the University in the previous annual examination. Must have secured 55% or more marks where grades are awarded instead of percentages must have equivalent grades of 55% or more Percentage will be 50% for group one renew students.
A student cannot claim admission on the basis of online application. As the provisional merit list for admission based on online application is published, the students who get a place in it will have to verify the original certificates at the concerned Samaras Hostel within the time period mentioned on the website, after which the admission will be fixed by the concerned Samaras Hostel.

- Copy of Aadhaar Card
- Certificate if the student is disabled Example if the student is an orphan
- Example of widow mother having children A copy of this application when admission is granted Police Character Certificate
- Medical Fitness Certificate.
