”Teacher Eligibility Test-I (TET-I)-2025 Result Notification”

Under “The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act-2009” and various resolutions from the Education Department, Secretariat, Gandhinagar (dated 27-04-2011, 14-07-2011, 03-05-2012, and 18-05-2012), standards have been set for the appointment of Primary Teachers/Vidhyasahayak in primary and upper primary schools under District/Municipal Education Committees. The State Examination Board, Gandhinagar, is authorized to conduct the “Teacher Eligibility Test-I (TET-I)” required for qualification as a primary teacher (Classes 1 to 5).
In accordance with notifications dated 14/10/2025 and 08/11/2025, the TET-I 2025 exam was organized on 21/12/2025 from 12:00 PM to 02:00 PM across Ahmedabad City, Ahmedabad Rural, Vadodara, Surat, and Rajkot.
Exam Process and Timeline
OMR Availability: OMR sheets of all present students were available on www.sebexam.org from 30/12/2025 to 03/01/2026.
Provisional Answer Key: Released on 24/12/2025. Candidates were invited to submit objections via email (sebg.query@gmail.com) with valid evidence between 24/12/2025 and 31/12/2025.
Final Answer Key: After expert committee review, the final answer key was published on 17/01/2026.
Result Declaration: The results for TET-I 2025 were officially declared on 30/01/2026 (Friday).

Important Instructions
- Passing Standards: Candidates from SC, ST, SEBC, PH, and EWS categories are declared “Pass” with 82 marks. For all other candidates, the passing criteria is 90 marks.
- Certificates: Mark sheets/certificates will be sent by the State Examination Board via Speed Post/Registered AD to the residential address provided in the online application form shortly.
- OMR Re-verification: Candidates wishing to re-verify their OMR sheet can do so in person at the State Examination Board, Sector-21, Gandhinagar, from 03/02/2026 to 10/02/2026 during office hours.
- Re-verification Requirements: Candidates must submit a written application (as per the attached format), a copy of their hall ticket, a copy of the OMR sheet, and a cash fee of ₹100. No requests will be accepted after 10/02/2026.
- Final Selection: Final verification of personal data, educational qualifications, and experience will be conducted by the Recruitment Selection Committee, whose decision will be final.
